Meet the Doctors

Leslee (Les) Timm DDS is dedicated to the oral health of the Coulee Region. He completed his dental training at Marquette University in 2002. He then spent three years at the Veterans Hospital in Portland, Oregon specializing in Prosthodonticts. Les then completed a Fellowship in Maxillofacial Prosthetics at UCLA providing prosthetic rehabilitation for patient suffering from cancer, trauma and developmental problems. Dr. Timm was the Oral & Maxillofacial Prosthodontist at Gundersen Clinic for five years prior to starting his Oral Surgery Residency.

Charles (Chuck) Polzin DDS is committed to helping his patients achieve a healthy, happy smile. Chuck is a proud Wisconsin native and is an avid fan of Marquette and Bucks Basketball. He completed his dental training at Marquette Dental with honors in 2011. Chuck worked for Marshfield Clinic in Northern Wisconsin for three years after completing his surgical training at Gundersen Health in 2014.

Dr. Sorenson grew up in Wausau, Wisconsin and fell in love with the Coulee Region while completing his undergraduate studies in Biochemistry at the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse. He went on to attend dental school at Marquette University, graduating summa cum laude. Following dental school, Dr. Sorenson completed a four-year residency in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at the Ohio State University.

"Great experience at Coulee Region dental clinic. It was my first dental treatment in the town, so I was a bit apprehensive.I had my wisdom tooth extracted by Dr.Polzin, he did a neat job and provided thorough explanation before and during the procedure. The procedure itself took only 5 minutes and then I was sent home. The recovery was fast and without any complication. The check in at the reception was smooth and the staff are very welcoming and professional. "I am rating my experiences with Dr. Timm, the staff and the procedures so far a 10 out of 10. I have had pretty bad periodontal for a long time and as I had been told it is not good for your overall health but I was afraid to do anything about it. In total I had talked to 3 other dentists about implants but not because of any specific fault of theirs I was not comfortable going through with the full mouth procedure, I was scared. The time came up again as I was not getting any younger so I setup an appt with Dr. Timm. After meeting with him and his staff, discussing my options and cost I wasn't scared anymore and was excited to get started. From the first day of the teeth extractions to the fitting of my temporary teeth nothing happened that I wasn't expecting and I left his office with a much more beautiful smile then I could of expected. It will be 3 months from my extrations and implant procedure and I do not have any regret having this done. I am excited to get my permanent new smile but until then this one is just great.
